Spier wine farm in Stellenbosch is giving food and wine lovers something a little different with their limited-edition Winemaker Dinners. Explore the winery after dark for culinary delights and discover the estate’s rich 331-year-old winemaking heritage through an evening of storytelling.
Carefully crafted food and dink
Unlike a typical à la carte menu, food and wine pairing dinners in Cape Town ask you to cede all control; instead placing yourself in the hands of the chef to know what will excite your palate.
This pop-up dining experience is hosted in the beautifully restored Manor House and includes a flavourful 4-course meal, with each dish perfectly paired with Spier's acclaimed wines. Michelin-starred chef and Great British Menu contestant Phil Carmichael goes the extra mile to curate a sensory journey anchored in fresh, local produce and world-class creativity on a plate.
Throughout each evening, Spier Cellar Master Johan Jordaan and a specialist winemaker from his team share tales from the cellar and reflect on their unique winemaking styles.
Seats are limited to to one long table seating 22 guests to ensure an intimate and personalised experience.
